Welcome to Singleton PCYC

On 2nd March 1965 the Singleton PCYC became the 34th Club in NSW. Previously it was known as the National Fitness Youth Centre.

To make the transition possible a great amount of hard work was done by the people of the Singleton district. Those mentioned in papers at the time were Ted Aust, Bill Young, Clive Bourke, Ock Hatherley and Joe Darcy. It had taken years of campaigning by these people and alot of others who had worked in the background to get the club started.

In the early days the club had an amazing Ladies Auxillary who raised funds by catering at functions and local balls plus general fundraising through friday night dances, raffles, fetes and such.

Club activities at the time were boxing, basketball, gymnastics, soccer, cricket, chess, football, shooting.

The club now has boxing, karate, weights, gymnastics, ladies 1/2 court tennis and a free games afternoon for junior members that inlcudes 3 on 3 basketball and yard games.

All ages are welcome at the club from babies to 80 years. Everyone can come have a go!!
