Futsal is an indoor version of football (soccer), played between two teams of five players, including a goalkeeper.
PCYC Futsal provides a friendly yet competitive environment for players of all abilities. Our clubs offer a range of competitions to cater for boys and girls from 6 years and up. Our clubs also cater for men and women with a variety of competitions to suit your needs. Please visit your local PCYCs futsal page to see what is available.
Opportunities also exist within PCYC Futsal to represent your club against others in the state at our annual inter-club tournaments. There are also pathways available for you to represent both your state and country through affiliation with our Futsal Premier League Club, PCYC Sydney Magic based at Marrickville PCYC. A New Futsal Season Begins!
The excitement is about to begin once again with the start of the
2008/09 Futsal season in PCYC this September. After the expansion of
PCYC Futsal there are now a record number of competitions being held
in PCYC's across NSW this season.This makes PCYC Futsal one of the largest
networks of Futsal in Australia. Our newest competition will be starting
in Cowra.
With the recent upgrading of many of our facilities, PCYC offers great
futsal venues with a friendly and safe environment for your enjoyment.
PCYC Futsal also has affiliations to both Futsal NSW and Northern NSW
Futsal enabling players to represent their state at National Championships
held in Canberra every January.

PCYC makes life easy
In an initiative to help young people be more active, and to introduce children to the sport of futsal and football, PCYC for the 4th year running in 2008 will be providing free futsal competitions for 6 and 7 year olds in Mount Druitt, Lake Macquarie and Fairfield/Cabramatta.
The first 60 children from each of these areas, to register in one of
these competitions will receive free PCYC membership, free Futsal NSW
or Northern NSW Football registration, free games each week of the competition
and free playing gear including shin pads, shorts, socks and playing
shirts.
"At PCYC we understand that there are so many costs associated
with kids sports and this initiative will enable parents to introduce
their children to PCYC Futsal" said PCYC CEO Chris Gardiner. "The
response in previous years has been extraordinary and many players have
stayed with us to continue playing futsal each year, also helping PCYC
to build great socialising opportunities for young people".
