On Sunday 10th August the 5th Annual Inter PCYC 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament was staged, and for the first time in the Riverina Zone at Young. Competitions were staged in four age groups; Under 14's Mixed, Under 16's Boys, Under 16's Girls and Under 18's Boys. It was fantastic to see a good turn-out from clubs in the Western and especially Riverina Zones. A big thank you must go to Riverina Zone Commander S/Sgt David Cook and Zone Sergeant, Sgt. John Waples for being such strong supporters of the tournament. Also thanks to the police programmers, civilian staff and volunteers from each of the clubs who assisted in transporting and supervising their teams. A special mention to S/C Janine Robinson and & S/C Harry O'Neil from Cowra who supplied no less than 7 teams!!!

Both tournaments saw some excellent skills demonstrated and some excellent sportsmanship between the boys and girls participating. I would personally like to thank the following clubs for taking part: Young, Cowra, Wagga Wagga, Orange and Albury.
