JuJitsu - Ground Fighing

Friday JuJitsu specialises in ground fighting techniques and is run by Sensei George Adams 5th Dan

Ju Jitsu is a highly practical and effective art of self-defence.

It can be classified as the art of defence without weapons against an attacker or group of attackers who may be armed or unarmed.

Ju Jitsu is an art that can be enjoyed by women, men and children of all ages.

The effectiveness of Ju Jitsu is proven when we realise that it is one of the oldest forms of Martial Arts and has been in existence for many hundreds of years.

The practicality of Ju Jitsu is reflected in the various techniques that are used which blend into a highly disciplined approach to this art of self-defence.

IN YIELDING IS STRENGTH Ju Jitsu is not an Art of Fighting - it is a true form of Self Defence

About Ballroom Dancing

The five ballroom dances: Modern Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Slow Foxtrot, and Quickstep, are danced the world over both socially and in DanceSport competitions.

The figures in the modern ballroom dances have now been standardised and categorised into various levels for teaching, with internationally agreed vocabularies, techniques, rhythms and tempos.

These 'standard ballroom' dances have diverse origins, rhythms, tempos, and aesthetics, but have one thing in common: they are all danced by a couple (usually a man and a woman) in 'closed hold', maintaining five areas of contact between the partners while performing all the figures of the dances.

To teach ballroom dancing at a PCYC instructors must have as a minimum qualification a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
