Hornsby Venue & Facilities

 Our facilities are suitable for a multitude of activities for both the youth of our area and the general community.

With young people at school, univetrsity, TAFE or work during the day, there is ample opportunity for older residents of Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai to put our facilities to virtually any use.

Main Hall

A full size basketball court and marked out and used to accomodate a wide range of indoor sports, our main hall can be put to a multitude of uses. It is licensed to hold up to 1,000 people and, with its large stage area and kitchen facilities, it is ideal for dance parties, band nights and receptions.

Dance Room

This is one of our showpiece rooms, purposely set up for dance tuition with a timber floor, dance rails and mirror.

"Green Room" - General Facility Room

Known locally as the "Green Room" for obvious reasons, it is a large multi-purpose room with a vynil floor that has often used as a second dance room, by football teams for wet weather training and by our boxers as a skipping room

Judo & Martial Arts Room

This large room has a "Judo Mat" floor specifically designed to accomodate a range of martial arts as evidenced by the many trophies that line the walls. It can be used for a wide range of activities where a soft floor surface is needed

Wrestling Room

Purpose built for wrestling with a padded mat floor, this large room has produced olympc representation. Wrestling trophies adorn the walls.

Break Dancers also like this facility for training new break dancers before they venture out on to a harder floor service

Meeting/Training Room

This room is a large airconditioned and carpeted meeting room with its own kitchenette and private toilet It is available for hire and could be used for meetings as well as group activities such as Youth groups, Mother's groups, Cards, Chess or virtually any interest group you could imagine. The room also has whiteboards & a projector screen and enquiries can be made regarding use of the club data projector and laptop. 

Boxing Gym

Regarded by many as one of our premier activity rooms, this is your typical Boxing gym with a full size boxing ring and all the boxing bags and power balls you would expect to see. A very popular fitness sport in the club, this room is put to good use.

Blue Room

Another large general facility room named after its bright colour scheme.

It has a carpeted floor and can be put to an almost limitless range of uses.
