Burwood Staff & Committee

PCYC is a unique organisation that relies on the support of NSW Police and the local community.

Each PCYC is managed by a Club Manager, assisted by staff and volunteers. NSW Police provide two officers to run programs that work case-by-case with young offenders & "youth at risk"

Gary Davis

Gary has been the Burwood Club Manager since 2005. Any suggestions or concerns that you have for the club should be addressed to Gary.

He is available most days of the week (Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 6.00pm), and he has an extensive background in Martial Arts which he has been involved in for over 30 years.

Gary is also the Ju Jitsu Instructor at the club and a registered Black belt with the Australian JuJitsu Association (AJJA). He has also trained in Judo, Karate, NinJitsu and Aikido

Kristy is one of the Youth Case Managers attached to Burwood and has been a member of the NSW Police Force since 2001

Stephen Leadbeater

Stephen can generally be found in the dojo at Burwood club on Tuesday and Fridays as he is the clubs Judo instructor and a registered Black belt, NSW state 'B' grade referee and grades examiner with the Judo Federation of Australia (JFA).

Klaus Cruz

As one of our Activity coordinators Klaus is heavily involved in the Traffic Offender Program run at Burwood and when he is not organising/preparing for the next session he can be found on the basketball court shooting hoops, having a dance session in the studio or in the gym exercising.

Carl Campbell

Carl is one of the clubs Activity Coordinators and our resident cleaner, he has been involved in Burwood club for over 30 years holding various voluntary positions on the committee including secretary, treasurer and president. Any questions you have with regard to the clubs history can normally be answered by Carl
