Welcome to PCYC Broken Hill

Broken Hill PCYC is located in Gypsum Street just down the road from the intersection with Wills Street.

We are near West Football Club, Theatre 44 and Red Robin Deli.

What is PCYC?
Originally established in 1937 as the Police Boys Club, today's Police and Community Youth Clubs (PCYC) provide safe places for NSW kids to play, study and participate in exciting and productive activities.

Kids can participate in a wide range of team and individual sports, video projects, music programs, self-development programs, homework clubs and alternative education programs that teach basic literacy and numeracy skills as well as vital life skills like how to relate to others and anger management.

PCYC means less truancy, less crime and happier, more confident, capable kids.

There are 57 Clubs throughout NSW. As a result of fundraising, more than 1,400 kids from disadvantaged backgrounds are given free membership each year.

PCYC is the largest youth organisation in NSW, with over 30,000 members, 120 Police Officers, 2,500 volunteers and 400 employees.

VISION
To have PCYC a respected and recognised youth service organisation that is dedicated to excellence in youth leadership and youth crime prevention.

MISSION
PCYC is a statewide partnership between young people, the community and the NSW Police Service working to assist young people to develop the qualities to be responsible citizens and leaders and to avoid becoming offenders or victims of crime.
